U.S. Army Major Robert Stillwell U.S. Army (Ret). Co Founder

 

Former Chief Program and Budget Administrator for the Dept. of Defense Joint Healthcare facility: Fort Belvoir Community Hospital Syracuse University, M.P.A. and M.B.A Armstrong Atlantic State University B.S. (Politcal Science)

Major Robert Stillwell served as the Chief, Program and Budget Administrator for the Department of Defense Joint Healthcare facility: Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. Prior to this assignment he served as the Chief, Strategic Initiatives and Business Operations at Womack Army Medical Center (WOMACK).  Executive positions include Chief of Operations, Bayne-Jones Army Hospital; Executive Officer-Troop Commander, and worked within the Special Operations Community in several assignments.  He completed his undergraduate degree at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Political Science and was President of Phi Gamma Mu his senior year.  He completed his graduate education at Syracuse University where he earned a MBA and a Master of Public Administration with focus in health care finance and policy.  His professional organizations are American College of Healthcare Executives, Armed Services Military Comptrollers, and he is both a certified healthcare executive and certified defense financial manager. Major Stillwell is married to Mrs. Cecilia Stillwell, an educator-teacher for over 20 years, and they reside with their five children.

 Over 30 years of Military service, to include 4 years Active Air Force, 4 years Army National Guard and 25 Active Army as a Critical Care and Emergency Nurse. Deployed in Support of Desert Storm and three additional deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving as Chief Nurse of various Combat Support Hospitals stationed throughout the Theater of Operations. Currently working in the Salisbury VA Hospital Emergency Department.

U.S. Navy Lt. Sherrie Rodelander

Sherrie Rodelander is a U.S. Navy Lieutenant (ret) who served 9 years as a Naval  Officer. During her 9 years Sherrie deployed to Afghanistan, Jordan, Kuwait, Djibouti-Africa and Rota-Spain in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. She continues to serve the Department of the Navy as a Financial Program Manager for Naval Special Warfare Command. Sherrie is a 2007 graduate from Pennsylvania State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Masters of Business Administration degree with an Entrepreneurship focus at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Sherrie resides in Virginia Beach, VA with her Patriot Rover, Taz. Taz, who was named after Army Sgt Lance O. Eakes of Apex, N.C., loves going to work every day with Sherrie and being an essential part of her everyday life. 

U.S. Army Chaplain Major Wayne Lehto, Jr

  Army Officer. National Recruiting Operations Officer/Army Chaplain, NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU, WASHINGTON, DC/NC NATIONAL GUARD, RALEIGH. Master of Divinity, Masters in Religious Education of Arts, and Masters of Arts, Religion, Liberty University. B.A., Political Science, North Carolina State University, with a Concentration in Foreign Affairs. Specialties: Government liaison, employer relations, recruiting, conflict resolution, process improvement, organizational leadership. Served two tours Operation Iraqi Freedom.

U.S. Army SGT Cory “Recon” Collins PH OIF Director (Emeritas

   10 Year US Army Infantry Veteran. Served from June 1997 to March 2007 when medically retired due to injuries received while in LOD in Iraq. Served with 2/6 IN REG in Baumholder Germany, 2/8 IN REG in FT Hood, Texas, Sacramento Recruiting Battalion in Sacramento California, and 1/502 IN REG in Ft Campbell, KY.  Was medically retired from the Army on March 16, 2007, after being diagnosed with PTSD, a severe TBI, and multiple fractures to body. Moved to North Carolina in 2009, where after 5 years of trying multiple surgeries, had to have  left leg amputated above the knee in September of 2010. Has received the help of Patriot Rovers as my Dog, Patch, was trained and certified by this organization. I know first hand what it means for a Combat Vet to have a service dog. Along with his Family, Patch and Cory now spend our time helping fellow veterans and their families to make sure they are getting exactly what they need.
Married to  to the most wonderful woman in the world Paula, and together have 5 children.

Dr. Margaret Bertrand

 Solis Women’s Health of North Carolina, Director Breast Cancer Research
Baylor College of Medicine, M.D. Radiation Oncology Duke University Medical Center, B.S. Diagnostic Radiology; Dr. Bertrand has been a pioneer for womens health in this area, building the first comprehensive breast-health center in Guilford County in 1983 and becoming one of the first to use breast-specific gamma imaging, which costs less and can reveal more than traditional mammograms. 

Pamela Dixon BSN Director

 She received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Rowan Cabarrus Community college and her BSN from Winston Salem State University.

She has served Veterans at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA for 14 years and is currently the Accreditation Manager. She is the proud handler for Kimberly, Patriot Rover. Kimberly serves the Veterans on the Specialized Inpatient PTSD Unit as well as those on the sub-acute Mental Health Unit.

Pam has two grown children and two grandchildren. She is married to Jon Barber and enjoys caring for the chickens and cows on their 100 acre farm.
