Patriot Rovers, Inc. is recognized as a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Patriot Rovers are deductible under section 170 of the Code. You can view our:

Patriot Rovers is primarily a volunteer driven organization. We are proud that 87% of our revenue goes directly back into our program, with only 7% of our money going to administrative and 6% fundraising development costs.

Use of Funds

Funds provided by you or your organization
will include but are not limited to the following:

  • room and board for puppy until it is turned over to its assigned veteran at the end of training
  • required vaccinations, spay/neutering and veterinarian examinations;
  • food and training treats;
  • toys;
  • leashes;
  • collars;
  • grooming;
  • basic dog-obedience training classes;
  • transportation costs to special events and public access training sessions;
  • advanced training by certified, professional dog trainers;
  • transportation costs to meet, evaluate and assess his/her matching with a veteran or veteran candidates;
  • final training tailored to the specific needs of the veteran with the veteran;
  • Task training of the veteran with the service dog
  • periodic or refresher training for the assistance dog and his/her veteran while they remain partnered together;
  • service vest, tags;
  • banking, accounting, Insurance and legal fees;
  • utilities; and vehicles.
